A general meeting of the NEA was held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:30 am in Room 1313> (auditorium) of the NWC. Topics of discussion included the NEA concessions at the National Severe Weather Workshop, a proposed spring picnic, NEA officer elections and NEA membership dues. Posted: 10/07/2010   An NEA meeting was held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 11:30 am in Room 3910 of the NWC. Pizza and ice cream was served. Several items pertaining to potential NEA funding opportunities and volunteer work were discussed by NEA members, and we will vote upon a funding proposal for the Student Affairs Committee at the NEA meeting in mid October 2010. Posted: 10/07/2010   A special meeting of the NEA took place at 1130 am on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the NSSL Conference Room (Room 2410) of the NWC. Several funding proposals the were suggested at the previous NEA meeting on August 2, 2010 were voted upon and passed.

These proposals included:

1) Setting aside $1000 for the annual NWC Holiday Party.

2) Making a direct cash donation of $200 to the the local Crop Walk organization.

3) Making a direct cash donation of $1000 to Food & Shelter for Friends, a United Way organization in Norman that feeds and provides shelter to the hungry and homeless families.
